Hilton Garden Inns are usually very dependable. In this case, we were disappointed. The room was large, but not well furnished and not enough convenient outlets. The biggest disappointment was the bed. The staff was helpful and courteous. The location was convenient to the PA Convention Center. The amazing Terminal Market was next door.

The hotel is conveniently located, and I liked that it was right next to Chinatown and a Dunkin Donuts. I really only have a few complaints, most of which are minuscule:

1. The coffee setup in the room has no stirrers or lids. Incidentally, the lids in the lobby are a different size.
2. Breakfast is not included with your room. From what I could tell, it was $15 for a buffet, which is a bit steep for breakfast.
3. While the bathtub was clean, it needed a bit of maintenance. The bathtub faucet had detached from the wall.
4. This one was a bit weird. My room was one off from a fire escape. The room closest to the escape, I noticed on a Wednesday afternoon ~4 that they had gotten room service, and set the glasses (maybe about 7) out to be picked up. More than 24 hours later, the same glasses were still there. Meanwhile, the latch to keep the door closed from the inside was shut, then had the door shut on top of it, which effectively kept the door propped open. And not just an hour or two, either. There wasn't any noise, so I didn't have a reason to complain, but it was just odd.

Room tip: 7th floor: pool; 10th floor: restaurant

Very good stay at this Hilton Garden. We found the staff to be friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good, with the made to order window easy to use. Short walk to historical attractions, and the Reading Market where you can get any type of food you can think of!

Hotel is very clean with very friendly staff especially in the bar and restaurant rooms. Food and Drinks menues were reasonable value for money. The Hotel has a swimming pool and fitness rooms. Central location for city center, historic sites and the exhibition center

I was here on business for a few days and arrived pretty late. I really didn't want to leave the hotel...so I took a chance and ordered from the 10th floor grill. I wish I had the name of the gentleman who took my order over the phone. He was very very attentive and even went as far as calling me to let me know my order was ready. He offered to bring it down but I insisted on walking up. Once I got there, I was greeted by yet another nice gentleman who was more than accommodating. Both were really nice and went the extra mile to make sure I had everything I needed before I returned to my room. The staff here rocks!!! I'd definitely stay here again!!

Hi there!

Thank you so much for staying with us and then sharing your great feedback on TripAdvisor. I'm delighted (though not surprised) to hear that our room service staff who took your order and the restaurant staff who greeted you upon pick up, made a fantastic impression and made your evening just a little-bit easier. The 10th Floor Grille staff is truly top notch! Fun-fact about our restaurant: the chicken, beef, and pork we use is the freshest out there. It's butchered on-site by our culinary team and NEVER frozen.

The next time you come to town on business, we'd certainly love to host you again!
