Excellent service

This is a great place for the family to stay when seeing the sights of Philly! I was really impressed by Fran, at the concierge! She had a number of phenomenal recommendations!!! Well done Fran, well done!

Great rooms, friendly professional staff...fab 'hood travelladyinnyc...

I recently stayed at the Sonesta Philadelphia in Rittenhouse Square. Large rooms, friendly staff, super easy stay. Although there were some problems with the reservation it turned out in my favor. The 4th of July package included parking!! and a 2 room suite. Easy to share with a friend or family.

Very good!

Spent two nights here in June 2019, booked through hotels.com for a 'petite guestroom with 1 queen bed'.

Great hotel, we arrived early ish around 11am and got to check in (joy!). Location of hotel is fantastic, very central. Only a 10min walk from Amtrak station. It's in the heart of downtown so there are lots of great places to eat very closeby and it's easy to get everywhere on foot.

The room was really great, clean, comfy, well fitted. Housekeeping staff friendly and prompt (they left a little thank you note for our tip which was a nice touch). Room had lots of natural light and a nice city view.

The rooftop pool was great, so grateful for that in Philadelphia summer.

Would definitely recommend!

Great spot to stay - good value for your money.

Couple things...parking prices were outrageous to stay at the Sonesta. On the positive side the rooftop pool was amazing. The hotel was centrally located in downtown Philadephia and within walking distance to banks, restaurants and some bars. Rooms were big and certainly enough room for my teenage son and I. It appeared that the rooms had been recently updated and clean. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Sorry to read your disappointment about the parking but that is the cost for valet in the city. As an alternative, we have listed several self parking garages within 1 block of the hotel which are less expensive. We would suggest that you visit our website before your next visit.

4th of July package

The location is prime a few steps from everything...a great running trail, tourist attractions and restaurants. Room was spacious and clean! A couple of glitches, refrigerator wasn’t working, staff brought a replacement immediately. Safe wouldn’t work, but the hotel was sold out so they couldn’t give us another. Would recommend for a sunmer getaway!
