Overall I was very impressed with my first stay at a Canopy Hotel. I usually stay at another local hotel but this was way better. It's a great location in downtown Philly across from The Reading Terminal and close to City Hall. The design and décor is super modern with a touch of industrial. Appreciated the filtered water and ice machines on my floor too. Easy to valet or self park nearby. The hotel feels boutique and new. I would stay here every time I am in Philadelphia and will be sure to try other Canopy Hotels in other cities. I am officially a fan!
If I did have to criticize one thing about the hotel, it would be that when I checked in, the front desk agent never mentioned what was open or closed due to Covid 19. Never told if restaurants or health club/gym was open, etc. Was just given my keys and told where the elevators were. Also, it looked like there were orange bikes available for guests to use, but no one ever told me about this as a hotel perk.More
