I took shuttle bus from NYC by myself, stayed here for two nights. The front desk was really friendly and helpful. Location is very good, in central city, near reading terminal market where you can find lots of food. But it is quite silent in night time. And I love the whole design inside the room, especially the colour. Overall, very satisfied experience here, highly recommend!

Spent a long weekend here as a mini-vacation. The cab driver from 30th St. Station couldn't find the place (word to the wise - tell the cab driver it is the corner of 12th and Ludlow and the streets are one-way). Fortunately, all the Uber drivers we used after that knew exactly where it was. Walking distance to many restaurants, and Anthony at the front desk is a great source of recommendations. The room was very quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. But don't expect a big or symmetrical room as this building is 123 years old and has been beautifully repurposed as an urban hotel. Our only negative comments would be about the water pressure in the shower, and the temperature of the water. We were on the 10th floor, and the water pressure was low, and the hot water never got very hot (never needed cold mixed in).

Beautiful hotel! Art work and aesthetics are amazing and the front desk agents were a delight. Plenty of photo opportunities inside the hotel if you want nice backdrops. Room was very nice and the bed was super comfortable!

Overall canopy was a very nice experience. This was my first time in Philadelphia. I went with my mom and grandma so I wanted something with valet and that was close to the city center. The entrance was off a little side alley which was quiet, but if valet was busy meant there could be a line or that we had to park our car farther down and the valet would eventually get to it. The hotel itself was really pretty and inviting. It had a lot of character. Our room was ready a couple hours early which was awesome. Room was a nice size. Big bathroom. Place to our your coats. Beds were comfy. Had a decent view. Our hallway was nice and quiet. The ice and water was located by the elevators. All the staff were nice except for one valet worker. The first time we needed to park our car farther down the alley, my mom wanted to make sure she did the right thing and that the car would be taken care of and the valet guy responded with “with the right amount of compensation” meaning he was wanted a tip. Very rude. We tipped each one of our valet servers each time we got our car. Thankfully that was the only time we had him. Expect at least a 10 min wait to get your car. Call or text ahead of when you want to leave. The only other issue was we left a phone in the car and I asked the front desk to please check and have it brought back and she totally forgot and I had to go down to the desk to ask what had happened. We got the phone back with no issue. Overall a lovely experience and I would go back here.

This hotel is beautiful! It’s in a really nice part of Philly and we walked everywhere. The service was great from every staff member we interacted with. Loved the bar, gym, restaurant, and our room. They had a super nice gender neutral bathroom with a lot of privacy that we thought was unique. The decor and art was trendy with a high fashion urban feel. Will definitely stay here again! Be warned that parking in Philly is expensive… it’s valet parking only and $60 per night. Other than that this hotel is an amazing value.
