There is an area of the lobby set aside with interactive exhibits. You do get a bag of shredded money which is fun. If you are interested in banking and how the government influences the banks, this is a good experience.
I think kids would have to be at least teens to get the most out of it. It is quick and free, so why not? It is a nice accompanyment to the mint tour, but the mint tour is significantly more interesting.
