We had a reservation for an April 12th arrival. However, Mayo Clinic added a pre-op appointment for 6:50AM on the 12th so I called and made a reservation for April 11th as well. Upon our arrival they had no record of our reservation for the 11th and informed us that the hotel was full. When I showed them my confirmation, they were very accommodating and after researching my reservation, they upgraded us to a suite which was so nice. We were so appreciative. Damian Freeman was the front office staff person who took the time to research and honor us with the upgrade. Both he and Lenore Smith, Front Office Manager, went out of their way to be certain our stay was a good one. In spite of the surgery, it was. I liked the Manager's Reception very much and their very early breakfast buffet made it possible for me to grab some fruit and a muffin on the run.
When my husband had his second hip replacement on June 17th, we automatically headed to The Holiday Inn Express and Suites on the 16th. Once again, Damien Freeman and Lenore Smith made us feel at home as well as the breakfast and Manager's Reception Staff. Additionally, it's location to Mayo Clinic is very desirable. and the rooms quite clean.More
