I booked this hotel knowing exactly where it was located and what I was getting. The price was significantly less than nearby hotels and it is true you get what you pay for. It was satisfactory for a guys trip to an Orioles game, but I would NEVER take my family there to stay.

The good:
- Affordable
- Nice lobby area
- Free breakfast

The bad:
- Not an Inner Harbor hotel, in my opinion. Anything north of Baltimore Street should NOT be considered Inner Harbor. The only reason these hotels have Inner Harbor in their name is so they can charge a much higher price. This hotel is actually 5 blocks from the actual harbor.
- Homeless people and drug addicts are all around the area. This could be little unnerving to some, just be prepared for the sights you will see in downtown Baltimore.
- No parking. Use Spot Hero to find a decent rate nearby.
- Tiny room.
- Tiny bathroom.
- Rooms are in desperate need of repair. There are damaged walls, mirrors, ceiling, etc.

Overall, there are worse places to stay in Baltimore. I would only stay again is if the rate is substantially lower than other hotels. I would not bring my family to stay here. Don’t expect to have water views of the harbor, you’re a 15 minute walk from the water.

The room.was run down and had an unpleasant odour close to the boardwalk and a reasonable price but would not stay here again. Breakfast was very basic and not fresh. Staff were friendly but the hotel.needs modernisation

The room was Okay. The toilet seat was broken (no big deal). But Service was horrible. Check-in line was 9-10 people deep all day long. No one, NO ONE ever answers hotel phone, so if you ever think you might need help or info, do count on it from this hotel. My wife and I were rushing out, we just needed our parking card stamped. The desk guy told us we had to get back on the check in line (15 people long). The next guest in line told him to stamp the card. He stamped the card and then got on the phone for three or four minutes HOLDING THE CARD AND MAKING US WAIT! SERVICE WAS ABYSMAL!

Room Tip: If you like good service don't stay here!

A great old hotel which needs a service and appearance upgrade.

Booked this on line and did it for the location. A short walk to the water or Camden Yards. That was the reason for our visit.

A great lobby and reception area which is not maximized on the glory of. Super high ceilings with art on them, large columns and some fantastic furniture.

On arrival the rooms were clean and large enough. Fantastic entrance doors to the rooms and some older nice touches.

On our return from touring the next day around 4 neither of the rooms had been cleaned and none of the towels and toiletries had been replenished. We called down and a cursory cleaning was executed with only some of the towels replaced and none of the toiletries replaced.

In the mornings there was an attempt at a breakfast self serve service. The room looked like it might have been a number of different things over the years and now was just a mixed up bunch or tables and counters with no rhyme or reason to it.

the supple of items was on and off for the few days we were there.

Again the following day no service in the rooms, called down again and almost the same service response.

In addition, the hotel smelled stagnant or old, the service staff was not really friendly, seemed like a hotel and owner was just milking till it died.

Super location, someone needs to update the look and service in this hotel. It could pull in twice the room revenue like its neighbors if updated.

We had to leave the first room because the toilet would not flush properly. The parking garage is your only parking option- and you pay every time you go in and out.
Hotel furniture, wallpaper and bathroom tiles are past outdated and are faded, scratched, peeling and ripped. The hotel elevator inside doors had the same streaks of spilled liquid the two days we were here. Sounds from the street could be heard all night and we were on a high floor.
The breakfast was inedible eggs and greasy sausage. Waffles and cereal were ok.
No bathroom body soap. Closet door broken- broken alarm clock- warped hotel room door.
Not a place for young kids. Rooms too small.
