Eh If you are craving sushi and have to have it right then and there. Nothing Spectacular. You would think at this location they would step it up.

This place was recommended from one of the locals we met at fell's point. Small intimate place, nothing fancy but the food was awesome at reasonable price. This is th3 last little shop right by the pier. Try the cheesecake

The sushi and seaweed salad were very good. We especially liked the crab rolls, although the yellowtail was kind of bland. The reason I rate it only 3 stars is because the service went beyond rude,- it was downright annoying. It was a gorgeous day, with all the adjacent restaurants serving outside on their patios overlooking the harbor. When we asked if we could sit outside, the server said no, even though there were tables and a few chairs out there. When asked why, he mumbled some lame excuse about having to clean up the tables, but basically said it wasn't possible. A few minutes later, we saw him allow what apparently was a known customer with a dog eat outside at that table. When we asked about this, he said that customer really wanted to eat here, but they don't allow dogs inside. We felt we were in a "Curb your enthusiasm" episode! We just let it go and ate our take-out order while we sat on the dock. When we asked for water, he said you have to buy a bottle of it. I asked for ice, and he grudgingly filled my water bottle with it, after we paid for a substantial take-out order without being allowed to sit out on the patio! It was actually comical how begrudging the service was. If you don't mind feeling dissed, the sushi is good, but it leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you feel mistreated.

This is a little quaint restaurant. We sat outside by the water. We had miso soup, wasabi shumai, tempura shrimp & veggies, flaming dragon sushi. The flaming dragon sushi was very good! I highly recommend this dish. The staff was okay.

We ate lunch at Nanami Cafe today. The last time we ate sushi here was about 4 years ago and it's still great!

They have a tatami table area where you sit/eat with no shoes. It's relaxing and fun. And, the tatami table area is also right by the windows with views of Fells Point or the water.

We ate several rolls and some salmon (sake) sashimi. We especially enjoyed Chesapeake Roll #2 as it's something I've only ever seen at Nanami Cafe; a long roll madr of soft shelled crab and Old Bay. Definitely a unique and delicious treat!
