Daniela’s just keeps getting better and better. Our party of 10 thoroughly enjoyed our dinner last night. It was so nice to have a dining room to ourselves – we were able to have great conversations and lots of laughs. We give our compliments always to Daniela for preparing delicious Sardinian food. Our servers, Stefano, Domenico and Sara, were so attentive and friendly. Half of our group started with the Caesar Salad – so large it was enough to share. The salad was crisp Romaine lettuce, Parmigiano cheese, homemade dressing, and croutons. Everyone commented on how fresh and filling it was. We then went off in different directions. We enjoyed the Lasagna alla Bolognese (Ground beef, tomato sauce, and cheese), Ravioli ricotta e spinaci (Ravioli stuffed with ricotta cheese and spinach), Fettuccine allo zafferano in salsa di zucchine e gamberetti (egg and Sardinian saffron pasta with zucchini, and shrimp), Involtini di pollo ai funghi porcini (Chicken breast rolled and stuffed with prosciutto and Brie cheese with porcini mushrooms in a cream sauce, served with Risotto alla Milanese), Scaloppini di vitello al limone (veal scaloppini with parsley potatoes), and Fregula con cocciulas (pasta with clams, Italian parsley, sun dried tomatoes and garlic).
To finish the meal, we enjoyed cappuccinos and two had dessert of millefoglie al cioccolato (chocolate torte). What can we say, but “Thank You” for a wonderful dining experience!
