We ate at the Fitzroy for the first time last night and it was wonderful. The space is very sleek and I think the acoustics would benefit from either some fabric on the walls, or in keeping with the boxing theme, hang boxing bags to separate the bar from the eating area (and absorb some of the sound). Everything we ate was delicious but the dessert we ordered was amazing. Named, Lamington, it is made with sponge cake so light it is like flaked cake and then layers of different chocolates and then toasted coconut. Paired with their Pinot Noir and it was like eating a Mounds Bar on Steroids. Absolutely worth every delicious calorie! Cool rooftop space as well. We will be back!
