Poor hotel at a great location. Arrived and right away we noticed that half the elevators were not working and had to use the service elevators. We reserved a city view suite but they gave us a disabled person room with a peep hole at sitting level with an automatic door that stood open for a minute or so upon entering or exiting. Had to wait for it to close on its own. Furniture old and stained. A tub shower that didnt drain so we had to stand in 4 inches of water each time. I asked for another room but was told they were totally booked. Not worth the almost $1000 for 3 nights .Again the location cant be beat but the Thunderbird hotel down the street would of been a better option.

The hotel is great for business meetings. Provides everything you need for a meeting, spacy well-aired rooms with a great few of the Savannah river. And it has a really great chef! He cooks down-to-earth home-style local dishes. Problem is you might gain a few pounds...

2 Elevators were not working and several hand sanitizing stations were dirty just needed to be wiped out and some needed to be refilled. Our room could have been cleaner but I tried to clean it up to the best of my ability. Also we did not have any shampoo in the room and had to find someone to get some.

Travelers should know that the hotel does not do much to encourage guests to be masked in common areas. You may not care; we did. We also saw housekeeping staff who weren't wearing masks and check-in staff who lowered their masks when they talked to us. Also, the elevators were slow and broken; we only rode the service elevators. Our room was clean but felt worn and tired.

On Oct 6th 2021 stayed for 1 night in a riverfront balcony suite. The room wasn't that clean especially the bathroom. The popcorn ceiling was chipping and falling and had leaks. The towels were subpar and scratchy. There was no robes provided in room. For the price of a suite these things should be much better. The positives were the hotels location, valet parking in a secured garage, common areas of hotel were very nice and friendly staff.
