The buffet had so many things and all excellent. Sambar, 4 chutneys, pickles, 4 desserts, pappadum, idli, Goat curry, chicken curry, chana marsala, vegetable biryani, and naan is all I can remember and that was about half of the choices.

Went for dinner this last weekend and it was amazing! All 4 of us tried different dishes and it was all delicious. The customer service was perfect and they were so kind. It's a smaller establishment and isn't very updated, but you will definitely get quality food!!!

The greater Portland area is blessed with a plethora of fine Indian restaurants. Just on the Washington side of the 205 bridge is one of the best. Abhiruchi is off the Mill Plain exit, a block up Chakalov.. Or if you are coming from Portland take the Mill plain west exit and the cloverleaf leads you right to it.

We have been to this restaurant two or three times for lunch and once for dinner. Surprisingly, the food offered at lunch is possibly better than the dinner. This is most atypical, in my experience. We recently had lunch there with a friend and the food was better than ever. The hallmark of great Indian cuisine is that each dish tastes different. Few restaurants are able to accomplish this lofty goal. The chef at Abhiruchi is a genius. There must have been close to 20 offerings and each dish was a jewel. Clever dishes were made with cabbage and potatoes...amazing! The friendly proprietor includes nam, papadums, three chutneys and two deserts, so you don't go home without a glob jonum in you perilously full tummy.

This restaurant is not to be missed, especially if you find yourself on the north side of the 205 bridge.

I went with a party of 5 and we sampled a wide range of dishes. All were excellent. the service was excellent as well, but it was fairly late on a weeknight and it was not very busy. The atmosphere is fine, not great, but I don't pick an Indian restaurant for the atmosphere. I love good Indian food, and this place did not disappoint me.
