Beautiful brownstone on the red line in Brookline! Walking distance to Fenway and 10 minutes to downtown. Great diner across the street and a Whole Foods. A fantastic French bakery and Thai restaurant down the block. We recently had our second visit to Anthony's. Barbara and Arthur are great hosts. The rooms are large and impeccably decorated. Amazingly clean. It has shared bathrooms per floor but wasn't a problem. There was also access to a refrigerator. Love this place and will stay here again and again and again!

I got lucky in finding Anthony's Townhouse for our accommodation, Anthony's is extremely reasonably priced when you compare to hotels in Boston.

Our room was very spacious by the courtyard, there were two double beds and one twin bed. The common areas were clean and we had use of the fridge and microwave.

There was a half-bath and a three piece on our floor, we did not have any problems sharing with the other guests, each day our face cloths and towels were replaced.

Being located in Brookline, only 10 minutes from downtown Boston and we were right on the Transit -- Green Line, restaurants just down the street, 2 minute walk, also a Whole Foods grocery store, wine store which also sell hard liquor, Dunkin Donuts, please try O'Leary's Irish Pub and the Busy Bee for breakfast.

Room Tip: Back room downstairs by the courtyard is very quiet and spacious.

This was a terrific find in Boston, where reasonably priced acccomodation is hard to come by. It is located on a convenient transit line, close to restaurants and a food market. Our room was spacious, the common areas were clean and having access to a fridge and microwave was convenient. The shared bathroom was better than I had expected and as there were two bathroom on our floor getting access was never an issue. If I had one recommendation it would be to supply more coffee cups in the dish area.
Arthur was always available to help with recommendations and transit advice. He went out of his way to help us print out our boarding passes. I would stay here again and will be recommending this to all friends going to Boston.

Room Tip: There are no elevators as this is a Heritage Building with narrow staircases so you will be carrying luggage up and down stairs.

This beautiful 19th century townhouse is a few steps from the T green line. The rooms are spacious and quiet ( ours was at the back) though the bathroom and restroom are communal. Everything is immaculate. Barbara is a caring person, we could leave our baggages until 3 pm after Check out. The rates are reasonable for Boston. For breakfast try The Buzzy Bee just opposite. We enjoyed our stay.

The managers are incredibly friendly, and are eager to go the extra mile! Rooms were clean, and fitted with chic furniture. The area is quiet and so is Anthony's. I highly recommend Anthony's, a peaceful stay.

Room Tip: No restaurant, but a few good choices across the street
