I loved the ACE Hotel in Brooklyn. My room was decorated with so much attention to detail. I almost felt like I was renting a small apartment, not one of the usual impersonal hotel rooms. I felt extremely comfortable there. Everything was beyond clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was really convenient for my needs. All major subway lines were within walking distance. I really can't think of any shortcomings. I'll be back!More

I'm giving Ace Brooklyn a five star rating even though there were some minor hiccups during our three night stay. But overall, especially for a NYC hotel, this one stands out as a really, really good one. I stayed in a Loft room for the extra space, and it really was huge. Floor to ceiling windows (That open! Imagine that!), an incredible view, and a very quiet, corner location. Bed was like a dream, firm enough for those over 40 to not have back issues. Room was comfortable for working at the desk when needed as well. Minor hiccups: hot water and a weird dust. The shower took more than 10 minutes to heat up, and then it was only mildly hot. Also the morning we left a thick dust filled the air (maybe from nearby construction/HVAC vent). We opened the windows and it cleared out, but another thing worth them double checking. The staff were FANTASTIC. Low key and nice. The lobby bar and workspace is an A+. Adjoining restaurant had solid coffee/breakfast options. Street parking in the neighborhood is free, but be prepared to truly work for it if you happen to have a car. The one night we needed the hotel's adjacent self-parking lot (no valet), that lot was full by 11pm. Overall, this should be your go-to Brooklyn hotel.

I was so excited to book at The Ace because I've heard great things and my group and I were not disappointed. The location was amazing and close to the subway, staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the music, drinks and food at the lobby bar were great and our room was spotless, impeccably decorated and had a great view! I can't wait to come back to The Ace.

Wonderful place. Friendly staff, vibrant lobby and bar, excellent location right by many subway lines and in the heart of Brooklyn. And they take pets. My room was big with a huge window and view of southern Brooklyn. So they are perfect! Highly recommend.

Great location, great staff, super nice bed and fine sheets, pristine white towels, nice lobby and bar, housekeeping leaves everything spotless, just ok GYM, no pool ( as to expect of NYC ), bathroom amenities are amazing, and subway entrance is just by the door.
A/C may be bumpy and loud, but it's ok though.
Nice option out of Manhattan in a calm area.
Just book it and be happy.
