Great Spot For An NYC Trip

I loved this location. This Hampton Inn was in Downtown Brooklyn in a good location. I was only 2 train stops from Downtown Manhattan and the World Train Center stop. That stop also has a train that lets you go to New Jersey. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly.

Great customer service

The hosts were lovely as was everyone behind the desk. Walkable to subways. The room was decent sized, the breakfast was better than most.

Only drawback was that as a single woman, I was disconcerted by the empty streets at night.

All went well and with good humor.

Room tip: I was on 15th floor; nice and quiet.

What a little gem!

We lived in Brooklyn a while back, and always stay here when visiting. The staff is always super friendly, our room is clean, quiet, and comfy! I’m always impressed with the wide variety of free breakfast options they have, too! Is this the poshest, most expensive hotel in the area? Certainly not — but this will continue to be our go to!

Enjoyable

Stayed for 5 nights at the Hampton Inn and enjoyed it.

Friendly helpful staff, good location decent sized room, comfortable bed, good facilities in the room, nice decor.
Breakfast was good, very busy when we were there so often ran out of items but generally replenished quickly though not always.
24 hour coffee was a nice touch.
Very good value for money.

Only downside for us was the noise, soundproofing of rooms is not great and could frequently hear noise from the hallway and doors slaming.

Definitly would stay again but would try to get a quieter room in the hotel.

Thank you for recognizing our front desk staff! Its great to hear that our staff is getting recognized by our guests! The sound in NYC is always difficult to combat, but can definitely help with that! We can assign you to a room on the quitter side of the property and we do have white noise machines that can help combat the NYC noise for any future stays!

We hope we can host you again in the future when your plans bring you back to the Downtown Brooklyn Area!

Comfortable

Great customer service! Greeted with a smile and questions answered with patience. Thank you to the concierges for their suggestions such as where to get a jacket and where to find something to eat at 10 PM.
About a mile walking distance to DUMBO and the entrance to Brooklyn bridge.
I love that there is self-service coffee and tea available throughout the day and night.
Free continental breakfast.
The room size isn’t grand, but we are in New York so real estate is limited. Miniature bath products provided by hotel.
Will definitely return if we visit Brooklyn again!

Room tip: There’s a target about half a mile away in case you forget anything.
