We stayed at the Nataya resort, in Kampot a few nights ago and has an absolutely amazing experience. The resort is in beautiful setting and is the most tranquil and relaxing place we stayed while in Cambodia. We are now at the Sokha Beach Resort, in Sihanoukville, and are having a much different experience. The Nataya resort offered a more rustic (rustic in the best way possible) experience and there were not crowds of extremely rude Chinese tourists ruining the experience at the Nataya Resort. Sadly, I cannot say the same for the Sokha Beach Resort. Next time, we will stay at the Nataya resort in Sihanoukville, rather than the Sokha resort. There cost of staying at the Nataya Resort was very fair as well. The pool is absolutely amazing! We stayed in a Pavillion Suite, while our other family members stayed in the deluxe rooms. All the rooms were great! There were also rooms near the pool that looked very nice as well. While we were there they were finishing up another pool that will bring in water from the sea. It looked very nice. The only negative thing that happened during our stay is that I stepped on a huge hornet type of insect and the sting hurt unbelievably bad!
