Not even worth to rated as 1 star.. I went to him as recommended by booking,, but disappointed ...
1 ) Go to this hotel is scary .. and also inside the hotel there is no good lighting especially at night ..
2 ) too bad the place is dirty and also bugs, spider, and ants in the room ..
3 ) Very bad eating breakfast and dinner ..
4 ) Order something from the reception requires hours to bring him and installments ..
5)I asked for extra bed when I arrive with dinner,
I was so tired. . I'm waited 3 hours until he comes but didn't bring a pillow ...
when I opened the door I found 3 of the workers are talking and laughing I asked them a pillow, but did not hear me , when I started screaming they told me will bring now but also delayed .. this the worst hotel..Will not book again!

When people plan a trip to Kerala, most people like to cover the back waters also. People may think about Kumarakam or Alappuzha. The Vembanad Lake is the main point of attraction. One can think about stay in a House boat or can think about a stay in a resort. There are plenty of Resorts available around Kumarakam and also besides Vembanad Lake. Lemon Tree Vembanad lake Resort is such a resort located at Kayippuram, Muhamma. Muhamma is placed between Kottayam and Alappuzha. People from Ernakulam can reach this resort through the NH 66 and take a deviation from Cherthala.
The location of Lemon Tree Vembanad Lake resort is simply super. You will get a very good view of the back waters form each part of the resort. There is a swimming pool placed very near to the Vembanad Lake.
Rooms are good and are structured to see the back waters from each and every room. The dining hall and other structures are fine. But, something is missing. Regarding food they give more importance to North Indian menu, so ethnic Kerala food may be available only on special request. People who like to enjoy Kerala food may be disappointed. People from different part of the county and from outside, come to Kerala not only for enjoying the natural beauty of Kerala but also to enjoy the tasty food of Kerala. I personally felt that the food is not up to standard. The reason May be we expect more from the brand name of lemon Tree.
Another minus point to be mentioned is the quality of room service. The room service is pathetic. As a brand in hospitality business they have to give more attention to room service.
The overall picture is good, but has the potential to rate very good if they pay more attention to the room service and quality of Kerala food.

Room tip: All rooms are fine.

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel. Rooms are very poorly maintained. Coffee maker was stinging badly, lots of power fluctuation hampered the a/c which disturbed our sleep. The pool is in a very nice location but terribly maintained. My kids ended up collecting all the broken tiles. Food options are very less. I didn't expect kadai chicken and thai fish curry in kerala. I don't think any one will go to kerala to eat these foods when there are so many malabar delicacies. The spread was very disappointing. Deserts was even more disappointing, i felt the rasagolla which was served was haldiram's one. Breakfast both the days mysore bonda, it was clearly the left over the previous days. They claim to provide cycles but none of the cycles are in working conditions. They have DVDs which didn't play (life of pi). Overall it was a horrid experience and poor waste of money.

The property is located at a very scenic location around the Vembanad Lake. The hotel staff are very friendly and willing to help. The food was really good and the restaurant manager really catered to all our needs. The rooms were on the first floor facing the swimming pool and lake. We were there during the monsoon and you could enjoy the rains and the sunshine which keep alternating. the ride along the lake was fabulous

Room tip: Negotiate hard on rates.almost all rooms are lake facing. the first floor rooms give you the best view
