since it was our first time to bali as big groups of our friends for our friends wedding, villa travis offers a very reasonable price. as we were all coming as a big group of friends, we decided to look for a private villa and we found this villa and we loved it. its very quite area which we need for privacy even to have your own little party. villa travis looks exactly as the pictures shown and we stayed at 3 bed room. They have a nice humble staff as balinese hospitality, so helpful and friendly, whatever we need they would help. we also relaxed by the pool and chill out in balcony which they have a very comfortable balcony. outside of villa there are many small shops. the kitchen is very useful that you can cook your own food and they have all the good kitchen equipments that you need. big dining table for big families and a very relaxing comfort living room you can relax and watch movie. the best we loved was relaxed by the beautiful pool the whole day and it can be fit for families or group of friends. if you look for peaceful and a nice comfort villa deff villa travis is good choice :) we deff will come back again and again cos we loved it:)

this is our 2nd trip to Villa Travis. great change they have on the road, We choose this villa because the owner are muslims, they provide the Qiblat direction and praying mat (sajadah) 2 in each rooms. the breakfast is guaranteed HALAL, which is ok to start the day. nothing fancy. The Villa is a bit off the city and main road, it's perfect because we dont hear busy traffic. Just perfect for our family holiday. stayed on their 3 bedroom villas. We love going to gusto before heading back to the villas. the best gelato i've ever had.

Our family stayed on the 3 bed room villa for 5 nights on kid's school holiday, and we were all enjoying our stay in Villa Travis. We usually came to Bali and stayed in regular hotel separately, but this time we wanted to keep our family together in 1 place, so we all could enjoy the vacation together. We knew that on this high season all hotels and streets would be so crowded we wouldn't be able to relax ourselves down.
The down side was that we had to rent a car to stay there, and took times to go anywhere else since it wasn't really located in the heart of the city, but we knew that already and that's exactly what we were looking for. It was jammed near the tourist areas anyway, it would take forever to get anywhere.
The kids wouldn't have to share the swimming pools with other hotel guests and could run around the house and rooms just like we were at home but even better, the staffs were always around and easy to ask for assistance, the environment was private and relaxing, just like a holiday should be!
We were so lucky that the owner of the villa happened to stay there at that time too, they were sending us Special Breakfast the last morning we stayed, completed with a heart warming cappucino with flower shape foam on top :)
Overall, that was an amazing holiday that we will definitely prefer for any other times we come to Bali!

After a horrible jam, and wondering where the villa is and why is it sooooo farrrrr in, we arrived at Villa Travis. It was exactly like the picture, and more.

My family of 8 and I stayed at their 3 bedroom villa. It's never easy to satisfy 8 heads and especially 8people who travels a lot, but this place is beyond expectation. Staffs (Kadek Boy (coz there's 2 Kadek) and his wife, Wayang and Kadek Girl) was very very helpful. Very friendly. We would come back late at night, have our dinner and they would still be at service with smiles.

Breakfast food was not so much to our liking (thats maybe just a mere of diff taste preference) But we bought our own food since there's kitchenette, and the staffs are always happy to help with preparation or cleaning up or just for a chat...

The kitchen has everything we need (even microwaves and a fridge) and they even have water dispenser for hot cold and room temp, such a time saver!

All 3 rooms was vry comfy, has huge bathroom with bathtubs, tv, ipod dock, hairdryer, a safe, a huge comfy bed and a bit of space if you want to put another extra bed.

Last day, we called for the in house massage and it was lovely.

Cons

Wifi was good in the kitchen but not at the upstairs room.
the shower was very very week so we had to bath in the bath tub. hehe
The view from the upper balcony was to another villa construction site. I wished it was a green lush paddy field tho.

other than

We loved everything about the villa (maybe not so crazy about the road that is still in construction) but everything was lovely. Thanks to the manager Gin that has been very patient with all my request a few weeks before booking the villa. And i am glad i went for this villa instead of another hotel. We would come again, and again, and again. Love it!

At first we booked the 3 bedroom villa for one night, but then we feel really satisfied with the villa thus we decided to extend our stay for another night. What we love about the villa is that every thing is huge and clean, the bedroom is huge and each of it has its own huge private bathroom. Very relaxing, the balcony in the up stairs it's a great place to hang out, and the swimming pool, although it's relatively small but it's enough for the 7 of us (3 couple and 1 baby). The down side is that the location is far from every where but since we already planned just to enjoy the villa not exploring the city so we did not mind with the remote area. Another thing is that the Air conditioner in the living room seemed need a maintenance, its cold but not enough cold for us. But still, for the price we paid it is definitely a great deal.
