Stayed 3 weeks...staff were really friendly and helpfull. Hotel still new and some work still being completed (although bathroom sink area looking a bit decayed already - go figure) but very relaxing. Beds comfy, tv/dvd in room although screen a bit small for room size I thought (actually upstairs room had a wall in middle of room with tv attached - downstairs no wall so tv further away). Walls paper thin though, had new neighbours towards end of stay clearly more active than last lot, and thought they were in my room it was so loud late at night when they got back....friends travelling with us also commented they could hear neighbours too clearly. Limited lounges at beachside pool though and some guests put towels on them in the morning then left for couple hours for breakfast, shopping etc...think they should monitor this as it stops other guest from enjoying the area. Had the best masaman curry upstairs in the rooftop bar and a good lychee martini too! Limited space for clothes - although when I rang for more hangers they were quick to arrive. Also provides an Australian power socket in wall which is very handy. Had an upstairs room overlooking pool which was a gorgeous view, however really wanted ground floor room (easier with surfboards)....staff were great and let me move the next day. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast, although dinner worked out quite expensive....wish they'd see the sense in making it comparable with local restaurants, I'm sure families would dine there more - it was empty just about every night....on saying that lots of good restaurants within walking distance, as well as circle K for all your supermarket needs. Great location - no need to get in a taxi if you didn't want to. Walk along beach to Kuta or the other way to Seminyak (and Ku De Ta).....closer still try sunset drinks at Cocoon.....

I arrived at Ramada Camakila on July 2010. It was a short visit since we have stayed in several locations in Bali. Overall I see this resort as a simple modern resort, just a perfect place for me to close my 3 weeks holiday in Bali. The hotel is very clean, which is the first thing I would consider when I choose a hotel. The space inside the room is relieving, especially when I arrived from shopping in Seminyak with tons of handy crafts. The weather was always sunny at that time and we really lucky to get tanned as much as possible in pool deck next to Azaa restaurant. I had no problem tasting Asian foods, it has a unique spices. I would recommend their Tao Beach house, this beachfront restaurant has different range of Asian foods. If I’m lucky, then I’ll be back here on December.

Landed there as most hotels in the area were full. Opened since sept 2009 and probably was not yet listed for the travel packages. The location is perfect however.

Rooms are confi and so are the beds but humid and a bit stinky. The bathrooms are already wearing down.

Shower is in a small very slippery bath tub. Careful with the small plastic carpet. It actually increase the probability of you falling and probably raking down the precariously attached small glass. The likelyhood of it happening is increased by the supply of just one soap. Yes. 1 soap.

Finally the breakfast. Worst in indonesia ever. with my first ever canned pinapple in bali, pancake order is one 3' inch pancake with one strawberry on top, juices are all canned, toaster not working properly (had to toast 4 times).

Check out requires half hour.

Internet at 5usd. Walk to the internet center in front of the lobby at 1usd. Why do they misprice it so blatantly?.

My partner and I went over to Bali with another couple and stayed at the Ramada for 10 nights. I cant fault this hotel, the staff were incredible and would bend over backwards to perform any request you may have. The rooms were quite large and cleaned daily, the staff even offer a turn down service each night. The rooms are modern with a lcd tv and dvd player (which was great as we were able to watch some of the dvds we bought while we were in Bali). There are two pools- the main pool which is surrounded by sun lounges and near all the rooms; and an infinity pool that overlooks the beach (a beautiful pool and place to sunbake but limitied sun chairs). There is a lso a gym which my partner used everyday. The food is a little pricey when compared to other places in Bali (Still cheaper than what you would pay in Australia though) - but you can expect that from all hotels and there are so many places to eat nearby anyway. The best part about this hotel is its location. It is located directly across from the beach and is away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta- but still within walking distance and if you dont feel like walking a taxi is only about $2 -$3 to get to Kuta anyway. My friends and I all agree that we will definately stay at this hotel again if we return to Bali.

My husband and I stay in Ramada Resort Camakila for 6 nights, first arrived in the hotel we were very impressive and refreshed with their long swimming pool view. The hotel location was just about 20 minutes from Airport so we don’t need wait to long to reach the hotel. Reception staff was very welcome and quick check in finally we have our excellent room with new decoration, and fresh.
We like to spend our afternoon time and enjoy the sunset in TAO Rooftop Bar and dinner in Tao Beach house next to pool area, it make our vacation even more amazing. The longest Legian is just in front of the hotel where we can go to the beach everyday. We had 60 minutes massage in Salila Spa was perfect and relaxing with reasonable price, the spa staff was very professional and room ambiance made us enjoy our vacation in Bali.
Shopping location “ Yes”, I did not need to take taxi or rent a car, just by walk 10-15 minutes to Legian street where a lot of handicrafts are, Balinese home made dresses, accessories, everything were in one place. I did all after check out before leaving to airport. The hotel provide luggage store where you can put all your stuffs and pick them up letter.
Definitely I will be back in to my favorite hotel
