We stayed two nights in Sawah Indah Villa and enjoyed our stay for the whole time. If we knew how beautiful and peaceful place this is, could have stayed longer. Nature sounds during the night were impressing and the staff was very kind.

We stayed in the family room with 2 beds and 2 bath (with 2 bath tubs!) and wanted to extend but it was booked out.
The service was absolutely great, prompt, delivered delicious food to the room and cared about their visitors.
The views are spectacular and we loved that it was quiet in the morning.
The rooms are not air conditioned but it was not needed as it is very airy and has lots of glass doors.
We loved sitting on the deck and watching the rice fields and workers and also tried their Spa overlooking the rice terraces.
The kids loved the pool and the Inspirational Quotes in the garden were very inspiring. We have also spotted 2 snakes and a few frogs.

We went for a day but stayed for three, and only left because we were flying back home. We stayed in villa #3, the furthest away from the entrance. The villa was wonderful, big, clean, and very tastefully decorated. We had an indoor and an outdoor shower, a bath, and a big deck with a view to the gardens and the rice terraces. There is a beautiful pool in the resort, as well as a spa and a good restaurant. They also organise excursions. We did the guided treck in the rice fields which was wetter than expected but great fun. A few reviewers mentioned bugs and frogs, but the noises only added to the experience. In all, this was a highlight of a wonderful holiday in Bali.

Room Tip: Try to stay in a villa. It is worth it!

The name "Sawah Indah" means "beautiful ricefield". The name is apt for the accomodation. The bungalows are set on a hill side with rice and other fields around. The villagers work in the fields and it gives a nice atmosphere. The place has a nice restaurant, reception area, swimming pool and recreation area. We took the small bungalow, but it was too small, so we upgraded to a big one. It was well worth the extra money. Very spacious, well-built and well-integrated in the landscape. Not only the Sawah Indah villa was nice, but the surrounding properties as well. All the development in the Sidemen community is done in a aesthetically pleasant, non-intrusive way. Me and my wife need good WiFi to do our work and the WiFi was great. The staff in the restaurant is very friendly and professional and the food is healthy and tasty. What is special about the place is the noises of jungle animals at night.
