Really good and average place to have lunch. The service is pretty fast and it is not expensive. You pay around 10$ for a plate.

Stopped here for lunch after a conference and was impressed. Reminds me of the Hawaiian poke restaurant on Monroe St. This is a casual place, order at the counter style, but very nicely done, with beautiful oak tables. I had the chicken (also had salmon, steak, and tofu/ veggie options). you choose white or brown rice and comes with a side salad. Salad was mix of baby lettuces and arugula, only 2 choices of dressing, but both good. Good sized portions, around $9. Wish there were one in Middleton, I'd go there regularly!
While visiting our daughter in Madison she took us to Glaze. It is a smaller restaurant on State Street near the university. It is teriyaki style dishes or salads which you order at the counter. When the food is ready you go back to the counter to pick it up.
The portions were large and the food was well seasoned and very tasty.
I will stop back
The kid handling the food orders couldn't keep track of the order in which they were taken, and so he randomly filled them as the receipts spilled out the printer -- taking time out to chat up the babes who were waiting. I gave up after 15 minutes of waiting.
If this is your restaurant, send your crew back to boot camp.
The only "Glaze" I saw was the utterly lost look on the face of the kid at the counter.
Amazing quality. Excellent atmosphere. Chefs really care about the food they serve. Definitely recommend dine in or take out. Super fast service not lacking quality.
