The shade garden is a cool respite on a hot summer day. The vegetable garden and edible landscape examples will inspire any gardener. Fruit trees, perennial borders, formal garden, pond with bridge, rock garden-there is something for everyone. Inventive use of plants in containers and outdoor sculptures add more interest. Though winter is a quiet time, visit during any season and you will be rewarded. There is no charge for the garden. Tours are self-guided. Parking can be challenging as meters across the street are 25 minutes and are strictly enforced.
