Arrived yesterday 1/18/2018 firtst impression it needs major renovations. The lobby is blah, the rooms are nothing I expected, crack sink, bunch of dings around the woodworks. The TV has some smudges appears not cleaned, did a tour today 1/19 expecting to come back in the afternoon with a clean room and made up made bed but no the bed not done called guest relations complained about and I wanna told they’ll send housekeeping. Went to dinner and came back late needless to say the room still not cleaned and no towels. VERY DISAPPOINTED EXPECTED BETTER FOR A WALDORF ASTORIA. NOT RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE AT ALL.

I always enjoy staying at the Roosevelt. It has that historical, grand scale feel, but manages to maintain its "Cool" status. Great nighttime bar scene. Excellent food. Even the gift shop is a must stop for quality French Quarter and NOLA souvenirs.

Stayed at the Roosevelt for a conference. They could've used another person at the front desk but the lobby is so gorgeous you can entertain yourself enjoying the scenery. great people watching as all different types are walking through there. Was given the opportunity to upgrade to a suite and we did and it was lovely.

Our recent stay at the Roosevelt was excellent in many ways. The property is classic old school hotel that has been lovingly maintained. Our upgraded room to a king suite was lovely and very spacious. The bed linens were very comfortable and housekeeping did a great job every morning without fail. I would recommend a higher floor to try to get as good s view as possible. The only issues with the room for me were a lack of a bathtub, and most importantly lack of in room coffee maker. This was a big deal for us as we like coffee in the comfort of our room in the morning. Other Waldorf properties have had Nespresso machines en suite and this hotel needs to do this as well. The elevators had issues on our stay, for some reason not recognizing the floor we were on. (7th). This required a trip down the stairwell to the lobby and the stairwell was creepy and pretty dirty. Littered with all kinds of stuff. Other highlights about the Roosevelt include very friendly staff, great location in NOLA, great restaurants and of course the Sazerac Bar. I will definitely return here and hopefully by the time I do there will be coffeemakers in the rooms!!

WA Roosevelt is 1st class in every way and have been for the last 5 years in my opinion, we stay here 4-5 times per year and are never disappointed! The Sazarac bar has such rich history and quality drinks, a must stop in New Orleans.
