We come through NO to see family several times a year. We thought we'd treat ourselves to a nice hotel for a night on this latest trip. Hotel Mazarin turned out to be just perfect! Check-in was easy, they had a spot to park our car to unload (a rarity in the quarter) and a parking deck right across the street. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 2nd floor, with a great view of the beautiful courtyard and right near the stairs which was handy. The room was fabulous - really luxurious, simply and nicely appointed, everything seemed brand new.
The included breakfast buffet was great - eggs, bacon, lots of breads, fruit salad, grits - a real meal. The hotel shares a deal with the Hotel Le Marais for pool privileges, so we got to go sit in their nice hot salt pool for a bit after breakfast.
It really was a perfect 24 hours, we couldn't have been happier. We can't wait to go back and really feel like we've found our regular place for stays in NO.

well let me first say that the rooms are very nice. the courtyard is fantastic. the staff is very good. took a long time for room to get done everyday. the breakfast is ok not great i mean really can't we get hot coffe please? the dump it from the coffee maker into a larger pot that does not stay very warm. if you want peace and quiet this is not the place on fri or sat nite very loud. NOW HERE IS MY PROBLEM they advertise the courtyard as the centerpiece of the hotel EXCEPT when they put this crazy tarp up that blocks your view of it so i PAID OVER $200.00 A NITE to look at plastic tarp. my complaints fell on deaf ears.

We recently spent one night at Hotel Mazarin for a little "stay-cation", and the hotel and staff were absolutely wonderful. The location could not be better...it's in the middle of the Quarter but on a cross street so there is no noise carry-over from Bourbon or Canal. Every person we encounted was extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was beautiful and very well appointed. I travel for work and really appreciate the consideration that was taken in planning the room. Even though we booked the least expensive room, there was complimentary bottled water, a mini refrigerator, a luggage rack, plush bathrobes and plenty of electical outlets well-placed so that both of us could easily charge our cell phones, i pad, etc at the same time. My husband laughed at me when i commented on the fact that even the lamps had outlets in their bases, but he obviously has never tried to move a mattress in order to get to the one open outlet in a hotel room! The full breakfast was great and is available until 11am. This is wonderful, considering that you are, after all, staying in the French Quarter and most likely were out late the night before and don't want to wake up early to eat breakfast by 9:30. There is valet parking in a garage directly across the street, and one other thing that is indicative of the staff's desire to be helpful was that we arrived earlier than scheudled check-in time. We had planned to just ask to leave our luggage at the desk while we went to grab some lunch, but since our room was ready, they were happy to let us go ahead and check in. We will definitely be back!

A group of us stayed here to attend a Company Christmas Party that was down the street - The hotel itself was beautiful, the staff was GREAT & the room we had was AWESOME, the deluxe complimentary breakfast the next morning was what we needed & was wonderful!! The only suggestion I would make to the hotel is get a sign on the building stating your hotel name because there was a group of us and everyone past up the hotel because there was no sign on the building stating the name and get a better sales team because it took FOREVER for someone with the sales office to call back and by the time someone decided to call me back I had already booked all the rooms online, not to mention her message she left me was incorrect according to their information onine. Overall, everything was GREAT and we would stay here again!
