Lovely hotel

We stayed a week and loved it.

The facilities were great - although the pool could have been a bit warmer, the water jets were welcome after a day on the excellent slopes.

The food was good and plentiful and they made an effort to cater for a food allergy.

The place was spotlessly clean and warm. Great heated boot room.
Staff friendly although maybe a little shy in English. Monika in the restaurant was a joy.

They kindly made a special birthday cake which was delicious.

Would heartily recommend.

Ski Vacation

First of all this is our 4th time at this hotel. The owner already knows us and are very friendly. It is a family hotel with large rooms. We took 2 family rooms and one double room, amazing! The service is outstanding and all hotel personal are there to help. The owner every night passes by at the dinner table to ask is all ok. It is pet friendly. I recommend this hotel for everyone and it is a 2 mint. walk to the big lift so dont worry.

Fantastic family run hotel in a great location.

This is our second time we have stayed at the St.Georg hotel and yet again we have had the most fabulous holiday. The rooms are spacious with spectacular views. The food is excellent with plenty of choice for both adults and children. The owner of the hotel is very friendly and welcoming as is all the family. The staff are very pleasant and attentive. The swimming pool is an added bonus to the hotel and is a big hit for the children and adults after a day on the slopes. The location is ideal for both couples and families within easy walking distance to both the Ahorn and Penken ski lifts. We can't recommend this hotel enough and can't wait to come back again next year!

Friendly, Helpful, Clean good value.

Cannot praise this hotel enough! we stayed for 5 nights with my girlfriend and her family. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, where there was a language breakdown they would just grab a member of staff who spoke better english(even though we should have learned their language). The rooms were immaculately cleaned with the beds made up and the towels changed daily. The spa alone boasts 4 different sauna/steams and a great swimming pool for the price. The food was always interesting and different each night(one of us was vegetarian and had no complaints). Ski room is great with boot dryers and ski/board holders marked with your room numbers the door is always locked with entry via your key card. I have never felt like writing a review on a hotel until staying here but thought they really earned it with their value for money and great customer services.

Room tip: for a great view ask for the back of the hotel, 206 side had beautiful balcony views

Christmas in Mayrhofen

We spent 5 nights at Hotel St Georg over Christmas. Our flight was delayed and we ended up arriving at the hotel at 3am - when we arrived and rang the bell, they were very friendly considering the hour. The hotel is cosy and friendly and the whole family were very warm and accommodating. When we returned from snowboarding on Christmas eve, we had Christmas cookies and a candle in our room along with a card. The Christmas meal was very nice - the gingerbread dessert was delicious!

The hotel is a short walk to the Penken Bahn and there is also a Spar shop meters down the road. The spa was very nice and very quiet - we were the only ones in there, which is never the case at other hotels like Neuhaus or Strass.

The only recommendation I could make to the hotel would be to have coffee/tea facilities in the room (or at least available during the day to guests) and to offer tap water at dinner times.
