This is a lovely traditional hotel situated within a few steps of the Ahorn lift and only a few hundred metres from the Penken, the location is excellent. We stayed in a top floor room (4th floor) which had a really spacious bedroom area with some fab features, big bathroom and balcony facing the mountains with a great view. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is a boot room in the basement which is perfect for ski storage, there is also a spa / sauna area which we didn’t get chance to use so can’t comment on. Storage in the rooms was great plenty of space for all your clothes. The only negatives for us is that we would have liked tea/ coffee making facilities in the rooms, and that the pillows could have been thicker. Breakfast was fine with a selection of toast, cereal, fruits, cold plates, eg cheese/ Salmon / ham, Boiled eggs, bacon etc. Set us up for the day. Dinner in the restaurant was also lovely, would definitely recommend the fillet steak. Would certainly return to this hotel and definitely recommend this hotel to couples or families with older children.
