Being in Dubrovnik for New Year, we started to look for dinner options on 1 January. Many good places around and in Ston were closed and we decided to go to Kapetanova kuca, after nearly 10 years. What started as lazy rainy evening turned into a rhapsody of taste. Started with pate as greetings from the kitchen, over Kapetanova kuca risotto, oysters which were super fresh and then fresh fish. All food comes with their domestic vegetables and olive oil as well as local wine. This restaurant is in top 100 in Croatia since 1996, and with all right to be there. Chef Lidija Kralj is not tired yet. Everything is topped with very good service and homey Christmas-style atmosphere. I was delighted!
