Don't be fooled by the quaint lodge-like appearance in the lobby. That's where the charm ends. The rooms are very basic motel - small with windows looking out to exterior hallway, so very little privacy if you open drapes. As a result, little natural light in room. Bed had an actual bedspread on it - I haven't seen one of those in years! Decent towels & overall clean. The best thing about this place is its location - right on the harbor & an easy walk to Rays, a great local restaurant/bar.

This hotel is a very nicely located, near the harbor, which is the main activity center for this small town, Seward. The rooms are O.K but small and hence facilities like coffee percolator etc. are just cramped near the wash basin, which is not convenient. It was however clean while some light in the room was not working. Worst was the way they banged our doors while checking out. We were supposed to check out at 11 am but few minutes before 11 am one lady (?) banged the door and harshly spoke to us, while we were about to leave the room. How do they forget that they are dealing with their customers !!!

Room Tip: Look for rooms in the main building.

Nice room, comfortable bed, decent linens. Clean and well kept. VERY, very, helpful & pleasant staff and maintenance personnel. They happily assisted with my silly TV how-to questions, as well as helped me get into my (accidentally!) locked car. I'll definitely stay here again when I visit Seward!

Pulled in to Seward Alaska on a Wed evening. Didn’t realize how full the town would be.

Lucky for us we met Kelly & Pam on the evening desk of the Breeze Inn.

They worked together with the computer info to try their darndest to keep us as customers ... and help us at the same time.

They did just that and we had a very nice, spacious, clean room for our stay in Seward.

They even called a fishing Capt they New when our boat cancelled ... very helpful, very nice folks.

We had a great visit in Seward... much because of the folks at the Breeze.

Their restaurant breakfast was excellent as well.

Thanks Kelly & Pam; we’ll be back and go catch that load of fish for you guys!

This place may be a bit older, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the water was hot and the sea view rooms had a fantastic view of the harbor and the otters that like to float there.

The ladies at check in were super friendly and helpful as well. The free hotel shuttle to and from the cruise dock and rail station are a huge plus! We loved Bob who drove the shuttle. He was full of helpful information!!

It was awesome that we could walk to all our planned excursions out on the water and also to several shops. The free town shuttle stop is also right outside the hotel.

It’s not 5* but this place is a gem! We will come back to Seward and when we do, we will stay here.

Definitely pay a bit extra for the sea view rooms. I believe they are newer and the view is fantastic.
