Recently refurbished large room with walk in shower with high pressure water.
Quiet location and very friendly jovial owners.
Very close to main shopping area being only one street away. Plenty of on site parking.
The communal deck area is very handy to relax on after a full day of dodging the influx of cruise ship passengers.

Room Tip: We stayed in no 41 which was great

I too, had low expectations regarding our reservations here in Skagway, but 4 of us stayed here based on others' reviews. The lobby is small, unpretentious and homey. Staff is very laid back. Our rooms were simple, clean and efficient. Had very good beds, sufficient outlets for plug-ins, quiet and decently roomy and very conveniently located to Skagway's town center. Only drawback for us was the spotty and slow wifi, and the rather blasé attitude about it by staff.

Stayed here after getting of the car ferry. Great out of the way hotel. Walking distance to town. Very cute decorating, clean and friendly mom and pop owned. Beds very soft the room was quiet. Would recommend.

I didn't want to stay here by the look of the place, but my husband did as it was about $40 cheaper than the other motels, and also it was just off the main street. He got the keys, and once inside it was fine. Free wifi, no breakfast, but coffee available in the office. Fridge and microwave in room. Room very clean and neat, and the bed was comfortable.

Not your standard, hotel room that you find in all of the chain hotels. But the beds are clean and comfortable, the rooms are well equiped and recently renovated. Mini frig, microwave, nice table by the window. Providing a very comfortable place in down town to dry off before heading back out for more sight seeing in this historic gold rush town that still has the feel that you might bump into SGT Preston just around the corner.

Room Tip: Hotel Owner is a great source of info on what you should not miss in town.
