Everyone was very friendly and nice, great breakfast and the rooms were very comfortable but ask for the first floor, there are no elevators.. There is a CVS across the street and A super market, oh the hotel also has a nice bar.

This is the second tie I have stayed at this hotel. Both times were great experiences. The staff is just wonderful. All the front desk people were friendly , knowledgeable and efficient.
The room (310) was spacious, had a nice view of the Space Needle and had the charm most modern hotels lack. The kitchen had everything you could need including a full set of dishes and silverware, the bathroom was clean and the water hot, the bedroom included a sofa bed so 3 could comfortably stay and the sitting area was wonderful for reading.
The location is great! Irish pub, bookstore, markets, CVS, and a neat Cajun restaurant are just a few things that were within 2-5 minutes of the hotel. Seattle Center and the waterfront are both within walking distance.

Don't expect any glitz or glamour here. There is a lot of history with this building and the ambiance is felt throughout. It's located in the Queen Anne district and within walking distance of the Space Needle and Pikes Market. We stayed here before taking an Alaskan cruise. It's a short cab/Uber ride to pier 91. We felt we got a good value for what we paid considering the going rate for downtown Seattle. We'll definitely consider this hotel during our next visit.

You can have some of the best staff and some of the most charm in the world. You can have large rooms with all the space and character that you need. You can have a well supplied continental breakfast but with the need for rethinking of how it is laid out. BUT if you can't get good sleep because of large articulated trucks and other large traffic vehicles at a very busy intersection then what's the point? Also the WiFi is patchy at best away from the central core. The lack of a lift/elevator would be troublesome for older people.

Room Tip: The high floors are harder to get to with no elevator

This hotel was a good choice. The onsite bar and lounge was nice, since we were staying just one night before a cruise. Short Lyft ride to the cruise terminal was only $12.00. Not within close walking distance of the main sites in Seattle, unless you like to walk (or need steps for meeting yourFitbit requirements). Breakfast was decent. Pastries, fruits, juices were breakfast choices. A quick bite without filling up before heading out. Room was old with squeeky floors. For one night, a good choice.
