Ready for a nice steep safe walk downhill or steep car drive down? The view at the top is spectacular! The skyblue skyline was beautiful. Today there were no clouds. There you can see the ferry ships. See Mt. Rainer mountain range. Smell the salt air. Unfortunately the water is too cold to swim. There is plenty of driftwood scattered on the beach to sit on. Families can relax and throw rocks. Fly a kite. Bring lunch to eat on the beach. Go kayaking. There is a public restroom. No beach fires though. Children can play on the playground. Bring your dog as long as your pick up with your pooper scooper and dispose. Enjoy!

Had to get away from the hustle and bustle of town and located this gem on the map. A yoga group was just finishing up and then we were swarmed by 3 school buses of children! Still a beautiful spot to check out the ocean and gather a few rocks.

We came back to our favorite local workout site. From the park entrance to the lower parking lot, there is a stair climb of 188 steps. It also has several exercise stations at the stair breaks and a counter board at the top. It’s rarely crowded and the view beats your stair stepper any day.

We've frequented this park for the sunset views. It is not too crowded and usually go there for a quick stroll by the shoreline but there is a little bit of a walk down a trail and crossing over a bridge where the train tracks are. Not a lot of benches to sit on but there are lots of drift wood aside from a few tables with grills on the side. The views are nice and see the cruise ships go out of the sound.

It's not your typical beach with tons of dry sand and waves crashing on the shores. It's mostly large pieces of driftwood, lots of rocks, and gentle waters. But it's cool and in the morning, it's mystic with the fog covering the trees and lands on the shores.

Multiple parks on-site if you have little ones too. Nice walk over a long bridge to open you up to the shores. And if you have some time, you can practice your crane kicks in the case you ever run into the Cobra-Kai
