The phrase 'couldn't swing a cat' comes to mind! The villa was the largest and meant to sleep 6 but we were 4 adults and felt very cramped. The only room with a double bed also had the only wardrobe and you could only walk past the bed sideways! The villa was clean and the kitchen reasonably well equipped but it is poorly designed as well as small - doors open into each other, no sockets in useful places.
On the up side Port Guillaume is charming with a stunning beach and choice of restaurants in walking distance.

We were accommodated for a week in a second floor apartment with lounge and toilet downstairs and bathroom and bedroom upstairs. The residence has 2 good pools indoor is small and outdoor a good size for a swim and play. The photos do do it justice and show exactly as it is. We had a view across the pool to the sea which was great. The port is nice to walk around and the local villages of Dive sur Mer, Cabourg and Holgate are lovely and full of restaurants and shops. We used the pizza restaurant on the port side a couple of times good value other restaurants along there are a bit expensive I found. Staff were helpful and friendly if I have a criticism its the beds are very hard. The residence is well located with beaches and villages just a stroll away and an ideal base the visit Normandy and all it has to offer. Travelling time about 3 and a half hours all on Toll motorway from the Channel Tunnel.

Room tip: Easy, on one side you have the sea the other the port ask for whatever you prefer.

We recently stayed here which was our second visit to this residence. We had a problem with our booking caused by Hotels.com but staff at the complex tried their best to rectify this which resulted in us paying extra for a more suitable apartment.
There are an assortment of apartments sleeping from 2-6 people over 4 floors. The front ones have a lovely view of the marina and the back ones overlook the outdoor swimming pool and from the higher floors you can see the sea. Most of the larger apartments are duplex and some have the main bedroom and bathroom upstairs with the toilet downstairs which maybe a problem to some people. I would advise that you specify when booking any preferences you may have.
We were disappointed that after paying for wifi you can only use it downstairs and there were no English channels on the TV.
There are 2 swimming pools - 1 indoor and 1 outside. We found there was plenty of free parking around the complex or you could pay for the underground car park. There is a reception desk which is open until 7pm ( closes lunch time ) which is quite reassuring if you have a problem.
The apartments are quite simply furnished but adequate and we cooked every night although only 2 rings on the hob. There is a microwave, fridge and dishwasher,
Within a 3 minute walk there are a few restaurants, a pizza take-a-way and a bakery so no need to cook or drive if you don't want to.
Overall we like this complex it is very quiet and a good base to explore the area.

Room tip: High floor (there is a lift) at the front.

Brilliant holiday for the price. We expected a hob with more than 2 rings as there was only 2. It was quiet. A beautiful view from the patio. The staff were excellent. I was surprised about the underground parking... it was so expensive and nowhere else to park.

This resort is very quiet and few restaurants all serving the same food. The photo of the pool area in the brochure is NOT of Port Gullaine. The pool area is small. Not much for children except the beach and pool and crazy golf
