The 'Pasta Combination' dinner is a GREAT sampler entrée. The 'Belly Button Soup' has a depth of flavors in the broth which is rare and very satisfying. The tiramisu is OUTSTANDING and quite possibly the best you'll find. Go early or on a week night or expect a wait.

Went with my wife. She and her friends rave about the place. We sat outside and that might have been why the service was poor - I even had to retrieve some table items from another table. My pasta was way over sauced (even by American standards) and her salad was over dressed. Pretty disappointing, especially after the build up.

We've been going here for years, and the food and service have consistently been great. Great pasta dishes. Don't see what you like? Tell the server and they will probably make it for you!

Eight of us went there after a full day of meetings. One person did not eat beef and another is vegetarian and they had no issues as the selection offers many choices.
The wine list is perfectly simple and not over priced.
The chicken piccata was perfect and most importantly, leave room for dessert, any dessert.

We love the food here. I had never had a bad meal. The veal and chicken dishes are all wonderful, as are the seafood dishes. I usually opt for the penne vodka, but tried the penne puttanesca last night. Spicy and delightful. Our friend had the special, stuffed green peppers (from the chef's own garden), served with angel hair pasta. Exquisite, he said. And my wife loved her Caesar salad with salmon. Food wise, you simply cannot go wrong.
And the setting is nice. Two intimate rooms indoors, and a lovely patio. The staff is friendly. They have a full bar and a good wine list.
But service last night, while friendly, was S L O W. It should not take an hour and a half to get our entrees. And I shouldn't have to barter with other servers to get a glass of wine, or ask three time before getting a wine list.
Maybe it was just a bad night, or a bad server. But great food, good as it is, only excuses so much.
