We like this hotel and its location but the parking garage was full on this past trip so we had to park on the street which was disappointing. A paying customer, I would think, would not find this convenient at 10 PM.More

Traveling from Colorado to Chicago and broke up the trip by stating in Omaha. Nice, clean hotel in a great touristy part of town. Parking is not included and there is no parking due to the nice location. $15 per day. Was just staying overnight and felt like I want previously made aware of the extra cost.

My colleague and I were in Omaha for a conference. Being a World of Hyatt member, I opted to stay at the Hyatt Place in Downtown Old Market. I'm glad I did.
The location of this hotel was wonderful for us. It was 2 blocks away from the conference and in easy walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and other activities in the Old Market area. Check in was quick and easy, the staff we encountered was helpful and friendly. There is a complimentary hot breakfast buffet in the morning along with coffee, hot cocoa, and tea available all day. The lobby features a bar that has cocktails and casual food for purchase.
Our rooms were ready when we checked in at 1pm. They were clean, spacious, and equipped with a TV providing Chromecast connect-ability but no cable. Not a big deal for me, but I can see how it might be for some.
I liked that you needed to use your key card to enter the hotel and to go upstairs to the rooms. It made me feel a little safer when I returned to the hotel alone as my colleague opted to stay out later most nights.
My only minor quibble is that I was not offered free beverages as a World of Hyatt member when I checked in yet the people behind me were. Over the course of my weeklong stay, I noticed that other members were offered the same. Like I said, minor quibble but still something I feel should be noted.
Overall, it was a great stay and I'd definitely stay at this hotel again if I found myself in Omaha again.

Located in the heart of the Old Market, the Hyatt is in a great location. The king room we had was very spacious and extremely clean. The front desk person was very helpful making dinner and bar recommendations. The price was reasonable, and I will stay there again my next time in Omaha. The breakfast was ok.

For some reason they felt it was okay to charge my credit card $6 two months after I stayed there for water I never took or used. I have twice called and asked them to remove this charge and twice they failed to refund a stinking $6. I am very disappointed that they feel it is ok to steal $6 from me. Unethical.

What happened? I’ve stayed here many times but this recent stay was a bust :( poor room service. Booger on the wall. Dirty bathroom. Lamps not working?? :( I asked for towels because the ones I had in the room when I arrived were on the shower floor? Never received and had to find room service myself and ask for some. I’ve loved this place before but feels as if it’s the slacking everything I’m paying for. 160$ a night for disappointment? I stay 2+ night everytime!
