We were a group of three people together with a small child aged 16 months, and stayed at Angela's Studios for four nights, in the Two-Bedroom Apartment. I have mixed feelings for my stay there.
The pros:
- Very friendly, polite, hospitable owners. It is a family-run business, They helped us with whatever we asked, and had a smile on their face all the time. Well done !!
- Very clean apartment with almost all amenities within it. Although they informed us in the beginning that they change towels every 4 days, they changed them after the first two days. Every day, a full cleaning of the place was taking place.
- Comfortable apartment for a family, with new furniture installed.
The cons:
- Noise during all nights. I was amazed that I didn't read something similar in reviews here or in booking.com. Although the location of Angela Studios is in the village's center, in my own opinion, it is far from ideal, because at nights, a significant amount of noise is coming from the bars and cafeterias. Unfortunately, we had to close all windows and turn on the air condition every night in order to be able to sleep.
- I read about it in a previous review and it is valid for me also. The kitchen cabins and drawers was smelling moisture. The apartment in total is somehow old, you can understand it from the doors, the refrigerator and other areas, although the owners have installed some new furniture.
- They do not accept credit cards. To be fair, the owners inform you during the booking process that they do not accept credit cards. Nevertheless, in the capital-control period we are living here in Greece, I find it unacceptable for a small business not to have already installed a POS.
To sum up, the disadvantages I write above, would not be that serious if the total cost/value had been fair. But in my humble opinion, I regard the cost of the specific apartment very high (120 euros/night) for the total quality that is offered. That's why, unfortunately, my total rate is only 3/5 and not higher.
