Friendly welcoming family owned and operated place. Great pizza and convenient location to where we were staying. Would recommend!

We were staying in Fludir our first night in Iceland and found Restaurant Mika just by random google search. We had the cured lamb for an appetizer and we each ordered the seafood pasta as an entrée. The lamb was good, though perhaps a bit bland. The pasta was a good portion and tasty. Much like most restaurants in Iceland, overpriced.
We were very hungry so we ordered pizzas and bruschetta as a starter. We were waiting for bruschetta 40 minutes (!), and it turned out to be one slice of bread... we expected more for this much money.
Pizza was ok.
The staff in the other hand was very nice!
Lobster served here is worth a detour on your route. The place serves also home made chocolate - absolutely fantastic
We were staying in the guest house over the road so it was really convenient. I can recommend the pizzas and chocolate cake. Very friendly, helpful staff.
