I joined my husband who was in Montichiari for work. We stayed at Monticlaris B&B and it really was a home from home. Each room is exquisitely beautiful and tasteful I it's decor, with our bedroom featuring a stunning 17th Century French wardrobe making one think of Narnia! Other gorgeous antiques fill the rooms, a marble-topped table, silver plate and vintage teacups, mahogany beaureas filled with crockery, and are accompanied with comfortable and elegant chaise lounges and chairs. The B&B was incredibly clean with fresh bed linen and towels every couple of days. We opted for breakfast which was fresh each morning from the local bakery, croissants, doughnuts, fresh bread with fresh coffee! And on Sundays an impressive feast with cake and treats laid out too.
The village itself is a sleepy little Italian town filled with lovely coffee shops, several of which we visited, with great public transport links to Milan, Verona and Venice, all of which we loved exploring.
However it is the hostess, Loredana, and her family which made this visit so enjoyable. Loredana personally met and welcomed us, and made us feel so welcome in her beautiful property. Nothing was too much trouble for her to make us feel at home. She offered recommendations of her favourite local haunts and places to try slightly further afield, and even welcomed us into her own home for an incredible Italian Cuisine Masterclass over dinner and wine. She really made us feel like dear friends and honoured guests. We could not thank her enough, and hope to return someday.

We traveled as a family, 3 adults and 2 children so having 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was perfect. The welcome and attentiveness during our stay was faultless. The owner takes great care to ensure all is just right. The accommodation was spacious and spotless and had everything we needed. Locally there are plenty of restaurants and shops, the view from the apartment is stunning. A little further afield - Lake Garda and Verona are easily reached. We traveled to Montichiari specifically to attend the European Karate Championships - we will return for a visit and we will definitely book to stay at Monticlaris when we do.

it's a nice B&B in a beautiful village. The owner is a warm and friendly person. She wants to make the stay as comfortable as possible. It is possible to rent the B&B for 1 room or more. From the B&B you can have nice trips in the environment.

This was a great apartment with loads of space and facilities to ensure a relaxing stay. Loredana and her family are very welcoming and can't do enough to help make your stay perfect.
This was our first trip to the area and we were helped with useful advise of where to visit to make best use of our time.
We had a car so all areas were easily accessible and we could enjoy touring without being restricted to coach trip times.
We love to cook and were directed to a supermarket 7 kilometres away which must have had the best produce that Italy could offer, fabulous food, fabulous hospitality, fabulous holiday - a must for anyone who enjoys the choice of eating out or self catering with the support of a welcoming family.

We stayed here for a week of a family vacation around Garda lake. The location is about 10km from the beach, and very close to the major attractions, but we didn't mind because we had a car.
The apartment is just perfect for a family vacation. Equipped with all appliances, A /C and breakfast is included! The apartment was very clean and felt like home.
My warmest recommendations however go to our host Loredana. She is warm and nice and helpful in any way imaginable. Just as an example, She took effort to check beforehand the ages of my kids and had the rooms set up for them, including a small present /game for each one.
I would warmly recommend this apartment!
