2 days with family in a 3 bed room. Room was just in the middle of the old town. Large room with nice bathroom, good beds. This is not a fancy hotel, but you get a good deal for 75EUR a night, including great location, breakfast and friendly staff. There are not so many hotels around Bosa, and I can recommend this unless you are looking for luxury (which I do not think you will find in Bosa).

Room Tip: From what we could see I think they are all in the old town, which is were you want to be!

A very vintagy hotel located in the heart of Bona. We had a great room with a roofterasse. The view was amazing. There is no wifi and the tv didn't work. Not a luxury hotel. Everything is very squeaky and robust, but thats part of the charm. They had an extremely nice staff that gave us great insider tips to discovering the real Sardinia. The breakfast is simple, but the coffee and the croissants were so good that it made up for it. Aircordition was perfect, and the room was very spacious. A great stay!

Room Tip: Charming, great location.

Lovely hotel with very good service, the hotel is in three buildings in the old part of Bosa,
The room is simple with a good bathroom, cleaning especially, the building we stayed in was very quiet with a good restaurant on the square.
The only lack is internet WFI in the rooms.
The town is a lovely Sardinian town with proximity to the beach

Once the receptionist arrived I was driven to the accommodation on a golf buggy. About a 4 minute walk away situated in a pretty square with a restaurant adjacent, the room was large, airy, simply decorated with a fine bathroom. The outdoor restaurant was closed on my night there, so pleasantly quiet. The breakfast room is in an enclosed space and small but the fare was good. The reception staff were helpful and provided me with the information I requested. If travelling by public transport the downtown bus stop is a 5 minute walk away.

Room Tip: Personally I'd head for the annexe.

Generally tripadvisor is very good at sorting the wheat out from the chaff and I could not figure out the reviews for this place, because they were all over the place. And for this reason I had doubts. This is basically a diffuso, which means as the main hotel has expanded they have bought other buildings ( or hotels) in and around the town to increase their capacity. Now there is nothing wrong with this, as long as the standards are the same across the whole estate. And they are not. Most possitive reviews are for the main hotel building which seems to sell itself as a boutique/ chic destination etc etc. And to be fair, this is why we booked the place. However we stayed in one of the diffuso. And the sad thruth is that the standars vary greatly across the properties. If I was being generous, I would say that that they bought a failing youth hostel which was probably last decorated when mussolini was still in power. Now I am no Martha Steward, but brown paint went out a long time ago. The rooms were clean, but they were just shabby and dated...there are no pictures of this on their website. They do not claim that they have a variety of standards across their properties. And basically this is not what I paid for. You cannot sell yourself as a "chic" or "boutique" or " lovingly restored" destination when a certain amount of your rooms are of a sub standard quality. And that is why they got a "terrible" score...because they were not being honest.
On the upside the staff were great, they get ten out of ten.
The location for the main hotel, gets ten out of ten.
But the owners need to be honest, keep investing in what could and should be a really great hotel and get everything up to scratch. Because if you are not careful, you pay a lot to basically stay in a yourh hostel.
I am also concerned about why so many people thing it is great. They obviously dont get out much. The breakfast, for example was at best fine. There is a small courtyard with 4 tables otherwise you sit in a windowless airless room with all the charm and charisma of a dentists waiting room. Of the four places we stayed in sardinia, this was the most mediocre breakfast.
There is no wifi as standard apart from hotel reception. This led to a strange situation every evening with dozens of people crowding around reception to log in and see wher is good to go for a night out. The reality, wifi is standard now, and this is maybe more an example of the under investment generally in the product.
Overall, this should be a great place to stay. The owners need to keep investing to raise their standards across the board, because they do potentially have a great product. But the truth is, it is probably more mutton dressed as lamb at the moment, which is a great shame.
