We are here for lunch, and were craving sushi. This place was fantastic. First of all, the fish was fresh. Secondly, the specialty rolls were innovative and excellent. The sushi appetizers were also very good. The nigiri was sizable and very fresh. The only problem was the service. The only waitress was severely overworked, but was attentive and very sweet, despite the overload. Too bad the management isn't as good as the rest of the employees. We will be back!

We bought the Sushi making and Saki tasting groupon and set our appointment. What a great time! We watched a master chef make a roll for us which we all got to share, then we made our own rolls. We made a Fresh Tuna roll and a crab roll. They were delicious, as was the Saki! Great night out for couples!

Sushi was fresh-tasting, but there was only one person working there, and 4 rolls and 4 pieces of sashimi took nearly 30 minutes to prepare and serve, AND WE WERE THE ONLY CUSTOMERS THERE. They were out of cream cheese, limiting what rolls they could make, and the fryer was down, so no tempura either. The rolls were on the thin side. I would not choose this place again.

This restaurant was alright. The food was tasty but it took about an hour for three of us to get our food, and we were the only ones in the restaurant. It should not take that long to make rolls. The rolls were also very small for how much they cost, which was surprising. I was still hungry after two rolls when usually two can fill me up. I would not consider going back.

This is a small offshoot of Kobe Japanese Steaks and Sushi in downtown Richmond.

We stopped here for dinner during a shopping expedition, and were pleasantly surprised. There is a sushi bar and a number of small tables. The atmosphere is fairly utilitarian, but the service was excellent. It was a quiet evening, and the sushi chef doubled as waiter. We had excellent green tea (refills are free), and one of us ordered a la carte sushi, the other a sashimi dinner. Both were excellent and well presented. The fish was unquestionably fresh and plentiful. We will be visiting again.
