A beautiful setting, close walk to Montefalco, pretty town. The home is lovely, the room comfortable. I would have liked WiFi in room, had to sit by front desk. Nice breakfast. The rooms were all different but ours on second floor was spacious and had nice big windows,

This hotel is so beautiful and charming. It's a little out of the way but the sheer beauty of the place will stay with you for a long time. Our room has the most amazing view of town and we were blown away by the charm of this place. We stayed here on a Rick Steves guided tour and the owners were so gracious and attentive. It was so peaceful and memorable. The room was very large and the linens were the best I have experienced in Itlay. The feather bed comfortable is excaltly what I needed after a long day of walking.

This could have been the most marvellous stay ever! The villa is beautifully positioned at the edge of Montefalco, it is a traditional old fashioned villa of the best sort with generous wide wooden staircases, panelled rooms, generous and elegant dining rooms and patios. Our room was lovely with wooden casements looking out over the hills to Assisi. However! The one thing that let the hotel down was a stale, scant breakfast served without any fresh food. Rolls were left over from day to day, a few pieces of cheese and salami were there, and that was about it for breakfast. One bowl of fruit was unreplaced for the entire stay. There were several different sorts of rolls/cakes but all of them were dry and re-served each day. No cooked food, nor any hot food, or any fresh or enticing food. I realise that we were staying at the end of their real season, but in such a small town with beautiful bakeries, I would have thought it possible to possibly serve some fresh croissants or even a boiled egg! So, beautiful hotel let down by a dry and boring breakfast - so sorry!

ADVISORY - there are stairs. We had a beautiful second floor room looking out to see the lights of Assisi, Absolutely stunning. Good size bathroom and shower. Clean, just everything really nice. Lovely terrace with great views, also. We were on a group tour, and most everyone agreed this was a special place. Another great feature -- a two minute walk to the medieval walls (and shops and restaurants and churches of Montefalco.) . Wished we could have stayed longer.

Room tip: get an upper floor room with a view towards Asissi

A family run hotel with its of space and limited amount of rooms.
Nothing too fancy, but very pleasant and kind staff, nice pool area, dining outside on the terrace.
Only one thing they can really improve and that is the temperature of the pool. I like a pool to be cold enough to refresh me. This one was a bit too warm.

Highly recommend to all.
