We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant, with attentive service. We would love to have gone there again, but as we only had two nights in Woodstock, there was not time for a repeat visit.

Thank Antal

As always this place doesn't disappoint. Staff is awesome, food unbelievable and atmosphere so romantic. This is our favorite place. We just love the menu and everything is delicious. Worth the money.

My wife and I were in town for the weekend and researched the best places to eat. We decided to give the Prince and Pauper a try. We did not have reservations but they were able to squeeze us in. We had the price fix menu and it was outstanding. I had prime rib that was cooked to perfection and my wife had the duck which she said was very good but slightly overcooked. The salad was delicious and the appetizers: mushroom layered dish and the ravioli were fabulous. The service was very attentive and helpful. We will go back when we are in Woodstock; although next time we will call ahead for reservations and not chance missing a superb meal.

Friday evening visit to this historic setting. Two menus, one three course with excellent options for $52 usd. The other menu has steak, seafood, chicken, pizza and more. Entrees were all done with a nice unique recipe, great veg and fresh green salad. The filet and salmon were excellent and our server was super friendly. The wine we had was just ok. There’s parking on the street and after dinner it’s great to take a stroll about the quaint downtown.
