This hotel is cheap, so you can't really complain. But they have so many options, they should update the hotel, make it a little gem. It is a very big hotel, but it screams old everywhere.
The lady at check-in, you can't say anything bad about here because she is running her legs off, but that doesn't fit the bill. A hotel is so much more, it is a smile, an hello a 'how was your day'.
So upon arrival we first had to drive in the parking area. We also had to hand over the car keys because they move your car.
Difficult if you have trust issues or a bad car insurance. Ours was fully insurance.
We got the keys of the room, which you always have to leave behind at reception, but I think they weigh about 400 grams.
The rooms are old, very old, very very old actually. The bathroom is even older. They should invest in the rooms. The beds aren't the most comfortable beds.
You can't say it is all bad, you just can say it is old.
The fact that you only can get wifi in a few areas is also outdated and very annoying. The hotel environment is nice but again... old.
Breakfast ... where to start. The strangest breakfast I have ever had (for 3 days). It isn't a buffet, they bring it to your table. I don't know whether you can ask extra because we never did.
You get nothing fresh, it all is in small containers. No cheese, no chorizo, no ham, no eggs, nope.
You get one bun, that they have cut in 2 and preheated. It's those freezer sandwiches. You get churros, they lay heavy on the stomach in the morning. And then you get every morning a different pastry, we got a muffin, a donut without a hole and a donut and the days we stayed. The muffin we took with us and used it as lunch.
If I would visit again, it would be price related, but I guess I would prefer a different hotel in another small area. Maybe more a family hotel, I guess you pay the same but it is a warmer setting.
