The first time here it was crowded and the staff seemed unorganized. This time the service was spot on (if not overly welcoming) and the food was excellent. I really like pate and the made onsite chicken liver pate was outstanding! I would go back again just for that. My wife had a traditional German dish and said it was authentic and very tasty. Portions are good and they have a decent wine selection. Reservations are a good idea or go on an off night (like we did the 2nd time).

What a wonderful dining experience yet again thanks to Chef Andrew and his wife Connie. My husband and I enjoyed this so much last summer that we tried it once again and what a delight - 6 delicious courses prepared with locally sourced seasonal ingredients paired with just the right wine was time well spent.
Connie served us each course and explained the paired wine. We had opted for the 6 course menu and had to bring our 6th course home to enjoy later - locally produced cheeses. Each dish was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked.
Can't wait for fall to witness the magic Chef and Connie create! thanks again for a wonderful evening!
Reservations are a must as the dining room is small. If you decide to choose the chef's menu option (4 or 6 courses), you must provide this information when you make your dinner reservation. Connie follows up to be sure that any dietary preferences are taken into consideration for your meal.

The food is delicious. The sausages are homemade. The hostess is charming. My only complaint is that when I went last summer it was too hot inside and outside there were many flies. Hopefully they've worked out the air conditioning situation by this summer.

This wonderful little restaurant checks off all the right boxes. Stellar service, food, and prices. All our entrees and appetizers were so well prepared and very pleasing to the eye. And the taste of everything was SO good. The pork schnitzel cordon blu was a great riff on the German classic. And the flatbreads were an outstanding shared appetizer. This is a limited table restaurant so if you go especially on a weekend you might want to call for a reservation. I can hardly wait to go back when the weather gets nice enough to sit on their patio. Well done.

Love this place and have been many times since they expanded from a food truck in the square to the restaurant. Always good food and beer but not a large menu to choose from. They know how to make a great flatbread pizza and a few weekly specials. Only downside is that you can never tell when they will be closed. If they have a catering event they close for the night without notice. Great staff and service but closing suddenly can really tick you off if you planned on dining here
