This is a modern Parador built to take advantage of its spectacular location high on a promontory surrounded by sea on 3 sides. The architecture is beautiful from within with huge glass windows and vast panoramas, but the exterior is ugly and from the outside pool it feels more like being in a prefabricated factory complex unless you take care to face the sea.
It has the usual Parador standards, with good-sizes rooms and bathrooms, attentive staff and local foods. Some of the furnishings are rather tired and some pool furniture broken. It was fun to walk down to the local beach and restaurants and to take the lovely cliff path walks. The roads around here are narrow and precipitous so don't make the mistake we made and hire a large car. It didn't rake the bends well or fit in the tiny parking slots.More
