This hotel is excellent when it comes to value for money paid: it is extremely well located to the pleasant old town, has sufficiently large and clean rooms, a well-priced breakfast that gives you the right start into the day and above all: very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Upon leaving we were presented with a small box of the local red pepper condiment - something that will make us remember not only the pleasant stay in the hotel but also the entire wonderful visit to Plasencia.

I gave this modest hotel a top rating because of what it offers for the modest cost. First, you could not be in a better location: 5 minutes walk to the plaza Mayor. Second, my room was clean, quiet, my bed comfortable and plenty of hot water and wifi available. All for 39 euros. There is a flat screen small TV in the room but it only offers few and only Spanish channels. There is a pleasant bar where you can have a continental breakfast for 2.50 or a beer after a long walk. The staff is friendly and helpful.
