This restaurant is a staple in the community. It has changed hands in the last year or so, and luckily, they have not made too many changes. This is a great place for lunch, and the desserts are wonderful too. We have been going to the Minuteman for around twenty years, and we generally have a great meal.

We've lived in the area for over 20 years and drove by this place a countless number of times and never stopped. We decided to stop in today and were pleasantly surprised. We had the opportunity of being served by one of the owners (Scott) who was very nice and accommodating. He, and his wife, took over the restaurant 9 months ago and are doing a nice job. I opted for a gouda cheese and ham hamburger cooked medium rare. Scott told us that he buys locally raised and processed, grass fed, beef. The burger didn't disappoint. It was very tasty. They're expanding their offering with smoked BBQ meats. My wife had the pulled pork platter. It was good with a mild Smokey flavor that we both enjoyed. It was a tad dry, but not a show stopper for us. They serve their pulled pork dry and let the customer add one of their two sauces to their liking. I prefer this approach as some restaurants get out of hand with the sauce. The mild is very mild and tastes somewhat generic. The hot sauce has a good kick without being too hot. We both preferred the hot sauce. All fruit pies are baked in house and it shows. We had a generous piece of blueberry pie and were not disappointed. Prices are a tad high, but, we found the quality of the food justified the price. We'll definitely be back,.

To my motorcycling friends this is a great place to stop for a meal or meet friends for a ride. Scott is a rider and would like to see bikes filling up his parking lot. The riding in this area of Morris County is quite good if you take some time to explore the backwoods.

I ordered a hot turkey sandwich - turkey, which is already kind of a dry meat, was grilled to warm it up, but made it even drier. Gravy was salty, no potatoes, just home made chips which I didn't like. Price was $10,99. If you wanted fries or potatoes, it was $2 more. Service was spotty. Won't go back.

A wonderful place for a family breakfast. It reminds us of the old days when we were young and traveling along 202 and stopping for ice cream and lunch. Marty and her family are great hosts with wonderful special breakfasts. I'd highly recommend it.

They were short of help so the owner normally in the kitchen was acting as server and service was a bit muddled. Food in terms of a burger, club sandwich was okay. My wife said her sandwich was more lettuce than chicken salad. I think it's a bit pricey. For example, kids meal of three mozzarella sticks and applesauce with cookie was $8.00. A club sandwich was $11.00.
