Peaceful, good service, nice and reliable host, and ...the nice small gazebo at the lake. Our son (8 years old at that time) used to run from the room to jumping into the lake after our daily excursion in town.

It was great and relaxing! will definitely stay here if we go back.

We travelled with our six month old daughter. Our room was just big enough for our stuff. We liked that it was clean and the view from the casa was nice. On the downside: the room was getting hot fast, and we couldn't leave the airco on the whole time because of the noise.
It didn't feel like a casa, but it was a good stay. The area is nice if you have children (there is a park nearby, it's quiet at night). To reach Cienfuegos you need a taxi however.

Wonderful place to stay- caring, welcoming hosts, good breakfast and incredible rooftop views. Would be helpful to speak Spanish but you can get by here with the basics.

I highly recommend choosing this casa if you're planning a trip to Cienfuegos!

Very professionally-run seaside casa at the end of Punta Gorda. We had the room on the 2nd level which had two comfy double/queen beds. The room was very clean and renovated with great bathroom facilities, a new (quieter) air conditioner and fridge stocked with bottle waters and sodas. The room also had its own semi-private terrace with rocking chairs - a great place to watch the sunrise or sunset. The whole casa also had two more deck areas for relaxing and sunbathing in the hot Caribbean sun!

Room Tip: The 2nd floor room is worth the splurge for a casa!

More like a hotel than a Casa Particular. The building is three stories high and fronts right onto the sea. Decor is an eclectic mix of neo Spanish colonial meets garden gnome. Rooms have en-suite, air conditioning and a wall safe. The hotel is about 4km from the centre of the town taxis are plentiful but in all cases agreeing a price for all the passengers before the journey is a must. The breakfast is typical cuban juice, fruit, bread (best we'd had in Cuba) eggs coffee. Evening meal comprises of the usual Cuban fare namely a hearty soup, rice, vegetables, potatoes and meat or fish, a sweet and coffee. (12 CUC at the time of writing). The owners are lovely and speak very good English.

Room Tip: Room 3 has views over the sea.
