Hospitality was very good! We were in the Macon Room - bathroom was small, but maybe they are all that way. Bed comfy. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres were wonderful in the parkour - had good selection in the cash bar, but the desk clerk wasn’t sure how to mix the drinks. Breakfast was very good! Could have eaten in your room, the parkour or in nice courtyard area outside. Loved the big front porch - we enjoyed a bottle of wine there! If you drive a large vehicle, it is a little tight to pull into the registration entrance - we opted to park behind vs try this with a Suburban. Location is in a nice area with large beautiful properties! Would stay here again…….we also had dinner at Oliver’s Corner Bistro - wonderful dinner! 4 minute drive!

Room tip: Park in back - plenty of parking. We took a walk - looked for the Riverwalk, but did not find it - might be worth checking out.

My wife and I spent two days/nights at the 1842 Inn. All the people on staff were super nice, helpful, and accommodating. The inn is so amazing and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend spending some time there, you won't regret it!

A phenomenal experience while staying in Macon! Fantastic room, beautiful grounds & patio, and the service was second to none. Kudos to Gloria & Joanne for their undivided attention to our requests and questions. Will definitely stay there again!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the 1842 Inn. We traveled from Nashville to Macon on our way to St Augustine. We had booked our stay earlier in the month and we are so glad we did! After a rainy day and many hours of travel through Atlanta and traffic jams we arrived 3 hours later than expected! Our hostess was so gracious and brought us drinks on the veranda! The mint juleps were divine! She recommended Oliver's on the corner of downtown Macon and our dinner of New York steak and asparagus over mashed potatoes was amazing. Back at the Inn we enjoyed a nice rest in our room to wake to beautiful sunshine and coffee served again on the veranda. They treated us like royalty and our breakfast was exquisite. Thank you for a delightful experience! We will return to explore some more!

Loved the Inn. Incredibly clean and great service and hospitality. Loved the babying we got at breakfast too. We will stay again. We stayed in the Macon Room. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Nice touches like fresh flowers, daily room clean and break on the patio! The french porch is exquisite southern architecture. I’ve stayed all over the world. This was a completely unexpected gem.

Room tip: Side entrance is a bit tight.l for SUVs. Go around it.
