To get the full effect of this building's outstanding acoustics, one must hear the heavenly sounding Mormon Tabernacle Choir sing on a Sunday morning in person. I was not thrilled about getting up early and listening to a choir sing, but by the time the service was over, I was moved to tears and didn't want to leave. I have never heard anything so heavenly before in my life than the choir and organ of this awesome Tabernacle. Even better yet, there are daily afternoon organ recitals which are usually by the Tabernacle organists. (The day I went, there was a guest organist.) I really enjoyed the fiery and exciting "Finale in D minor from Sonata I" by Alexandre Guilmant. Whether you like music or not, be sure to visit this unique Tabernacle! You'll be so glad you did!
