Made a reservation online with full payment six days before our desired date. We received an email stating to standby for a confirmation email. Two days before still no confirmation, so made two calls with no answer so left a message. Even sent an email requesting any contact. Nothing. We figured "out of town" maybe? Had to make a quick venue change for our wedding anniversary. Nothing on their website said "we're not home." Very disappointing & a waste of our time....

My initial impressions walking up to the outside of the house, I was just a little bit worried of what it would be like. Once I step through the front door, I began to calm down. Although the building is over 100 years old it feels like it’s still new on the inside. They have kept the beautiful old style without making it feel dusty or dingy. We came on a day it was only half booked up so we took a tour of several of the rooms.

Some rooms are smaller and don’t have jetted tub’s, but many of them do have jetted tub’s and a larger living area. Our particular room was south facing with lots of windows, it also had a large jetted tub and a nice sitting area.

We were very impressed with the flexibility of the staff, namely Chris, who was very flexible. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great time and were able to enjoy all the amenities this place had to offer even though our schedule was a bit unique.

We will definitely be coming back and I would highly recommend this great B&B!

This little hotel has the best welcome you would ever expect. The owner, Buffi is so sincere and so willing to make your stay the most memorable! And she did! After staying in over 30 places this trip, her hotel is the one that comes to mind to be the best! Rooms are individually designed with plenty of personality and the reset of the hotel is most comfortable provided you can get past the resident Butler, who stands guard just in the back door. He's life size and gives you a start overtime you open the door. He left me a rose and a message one time (courtesy of Buffi)!
Breakfast is one of the best meals you could have in the day - fresh fruit complete with a sprig of mint and frozen yoghurt. Buffi's culinary skill extend far beyond just bacon and eggs so be prepared for a nice surprise!

Room tip: Go to the top of the house - three storeys!

Rooms are available during Winter OR still. Gorgeous place! Food is amazing. Reasonable rates. The rooms are super clean and the staff is great. Sometimes hard to reach by phone but they answer the cell and email.

It was easy to find and we were greeted right away by the best innkeeper I've ever experienced. The room was so comfortable to stay in and the whole place was a pleasant place to sit around and relax in. The food and drinks were so delicious and served so elegantly. We did not want to leave! Anytime we are back in Salt Lake, we will stay here no matter what. We recommend the Haxton Manor to anyone needing a quiet, comfortable, easy place to stay. They really take the BEST care of you.

Room tip: All rooms provide peace, comfort and quiet. Considering it's in the city, we still didn't hear much noise.
